Bailey is an amazing 7 year old cherry brown Quarter horse gelding… I can’t really think of anything I really dislike about that boy. 🙂

He was brought to the ranch I ride at not very long after I started taking lessons there, he was replacing a great old horse- Stormy/Zuke- when Zuke got sick and he had to be put down.

I never truly got to know Bailey until I rode him for the first time, he is an amazing horse and is quite an easy horse to ride which I admire him for that. 🙂 Even though on occasion; I prefer a challenging horse to an easy horse.

He’s a gorgeous young boy and I absolutely love how he always comes up to me and looks at me with his big, dark brown eyes.

He’s always quite happy and seems to love me just as much as I love him, I’d definitely say he is a teddy bear horse lol.

The best time is when I’m grooming him and he practically sits there, like he’s asleep.
But the greatest time is when I’m riding him; he doesn’t have the best canter but I always LOVE riding him. He’s very good about listening to my commands and I almost never have trouble with him.

And he is definitely one of my closer friends, horses can do that, especially Bailey… he comforts me in a way. Its like he knows I’m upset about something the night before, or worried about something that’s going to happen…
He always seems to look at me and probably thinking: “Why are you upset? What’s wrong?” It makes me feel so warm inside knowing that he doesn’t have anything against me and he just loves me.

And that’s my boy Bailey… 🙂
